Um homem sentado sozinho na esplanada tem as pernas cruzadas, a direita sobre a esquerda. Pensa, vago e hesitante, em arranjar mulher, trabalho, família, uma casa nova, com estantes, candeeiros, uma boa aparelhagem com surround, tudo novinho em folha. Tem a sensação de um realismo conturbado e acha que talvez devesse ir ao cinema ou ao teatro para deixar de pensar, ver animais e paisagens, ou histórias de amor, daquelas em que a malta sabe o que quer mas os pais é que não deixam, até eles terem de se matar. Levanta-se. Entra no foyer de um cinema. Passeia errático pelo primeiro patamar e pensa em escorregar pelo corrimão das escadas que levam ao segundo patamar. Em direcção à sala faz um desvio ao bar e à casa de banho depois de ter planeado mentalmente umas férias improváveis, trauteado uma canção, abanado o pezinho e cochilado naqueles bancos de madeira.

“Homem Feito” é uma peça coreográfica que retrata um indivíduo “dividido ou multiplicado” (constituído por um corpo colectivo de intérpretes), procurando, no entanto, preservar a sua unicidade. Ao relacionar as noções de solidão, de colectivo e de indivíduo, esta peça pretende ir ao encontro dos seus aspectos paradoxais - como a representação da solidão através de um corpo colectivo.

MADE MAN (2010)

A man is sitting alone on the terrace with his legs crossed, the right over the left one. He thinks, vague and hesitant, about getting a woman, work, family, a new home, with bookshelves, lamps, a stereo with surround sound, all brand new. He has the feeling of a troubled realism and thinks that perhaps he should watch a movie or go to the theatre to stop thinking, to see animals and landscapes or love stories, those ones in which the guys know what they want but the parents do not allow them, until they have to kill themselves. He gets up and enter the foyer of a cinema. He walks erratic along the first level and thinks of sliding down the banister of the stairs that lead to the ground level. Towards the room he makes a detour to the bar and then the bathroom after having mentally planned an unlikely vacation, hummed a song, wagged his feet and dozed on those wooden benches.

"Made Man" is a choreographic piece that portrays an individual physically "divided or multiplied" (consisting of a collective body of interpreters), trying however, to maintain its uniqueness. By combining the notions of loneliness, of collective and individual, this piece intends to meet its paradoxical aspects - such as the representation of loneliness through a collective body.
