O QUE FOI JÁ ERA O QUE VIER SERÁ seguido de TAMBÉM PASSARÁ de Lígia Soares e SOPRO FINO EM PEDRA DURA seguido de VENTANIAS DE OUTONO de Andresa Soares, vêm ao encontro da presente circunstância que caracteriza a nova geração de criadores – excesso de criatividade e voluntária necessidade de concretização versus possibilidades limitadas de concretização por motivos logísticos – as duas autoras, após diversas discussões de si para si e entre si, depararam-se com a impossibilidade de escolher apenas uma de duas ideias que cada uma vinha a desenvolver e decidem associar-se e partilhar o mesmo espaço de trabalho.
Estes espectáculos não pretendem ter uma linguagem contemporânea no sentido em que os materiais e linguagem utilizados são tão antigos como o ser, o estar, o agir, o pensar, o falar e o representar- recorrendo mesmo a formas clássicas e arcaicas como a tragédia, a novela, o recital, o monólogo, o ballet, o teatro físico, a linguagem gestual, o contact-improvisation, a dança moderna, a luta livre e a ginástica. Eles são contudo contemporâneos entre si- sendo que são duas criações apresentadas no mesmo tempo e no mesmo espaço- propondo-se desta forma devolver à palavra contemporaneidade o seu sentido concreto.

THIN BLOW ON HARD ROCK followed by AUTUMN WINDS by Andresa Soares (2004)

Given the circumstances that nowadays typify this new generation of creators –excess of creativity and a voluntary need of rendering things concrete versus limited possibilities of achievement due to logistic reasons – both authors, after several inner and outer debates, faced the impossibility of choosing only one of two ideas that each one of them have been developing. Driven by compassion to this mutual issue of lack of space, they decided to associate and to share the same workspace.

These shows don't intend to have a contemporary language in the sense that the materials and language used in them are as old as being, thought, speech and acting. However, they are contemporary among themselves – because they are two creations presented in the same period of time and in the same physical space – they suggest a restoration of the concrete sense of the word contemporanity.
